Rebutting the Trenton Times
I would like to rebut the Trenton Editorial from the Trenton Times on the NRA. The writer of the editorial does not understand the NRA or the school safe guards they are supporting.

Since the tragic shootings in Aurora, Colorado and Sandy Hook, Ct., there has been a surge in anti-gun legislation, rushed by anti-gun legislators that are trying to take advantage of this horrible tragedy to push their agenda. Federal and State legislators are pushing bills that would have not prevented a mentally ill person from shooting people in a gun free zone. The bills that they have intended are to disarm American’s that have; the legal right to own firearms. Most of these bills are not gun control, but rather people control. Our founding fathers have recognized our freedoms and...

It is a shame that advertisers for radio and TV don’t believe in the 1st Amendment of Free speech. We believe our rights in our Constitution, recognized by our founding fathers as rights and freedoms granted by our Creator. We also believe that our Creator gave us rules to follow. They are called the 10 Commandments. If these rules were instilled in our children at an early age, we would have less crime and violence in our society. It is up to all of us to instill moral values in our young people as they grow.

I have heard the children crying and gunfire in the night, Freedom seems so far away, but still the people fight. Freedom is a fragile gift that has a heavy price, Battles won and battles lost and many gave their life. What some men take for granted, others never see, To speak their mind and have no fear and live a life that’s free. This happened in a foreign land not so long ago, Freedom is the greatest gift that people ever know. To safe guard all our liberties and keep our Country free, It’s not up to the government; it’s up to you and me. Listen to Bob’s...

This November may be the most critical election for freedom we have ever had in America. Our next President may appoint 2 or possibly 3 Supreme Court Justices. Our current President has appointed 2 in the last 4 years. Both have been opposed to our second amendment rights. All appointments to the court must be ratified by the US Senate. This is another reason for our vote to count. The McDonald and Heller cases in the Supreme Court were decided by a 5-4 decision. We cannot afford to have anyone appointed to the Court that will not support the Second Amendment. We must vote Freedom first in...

I went to the Congo, to see the Missions there. To see how Missionaries show their love and care. I saw the feeding program, for the children of the street. Because of lack of funding, three times a week they eat. Children wander through the streets of a city very poor. Just one of many in this land, torn apart by war. Dressed in rags and shoe-less, with a smiling face they came. A little boy asked me for shoes, I do not know his name. I climbed aboard an airplane and left that world behind. But the thought of that little boy, has never left my mind. I prayed, “Oh God, with all that...
